Meet The Team

Spiros and Lana are at the heart and soul of DesignLab in Adelaide graphic design. They started the agency in 2005 bringing a wide-range of Australian and international experience in the private and public sectors. DesignLab's other integral team members are graphic designer extraordinaire Jordan and the code wizard Tyson.

Design Director

Spiros started DesignLab to answer a marketplace need for a more flexible, targeted and collaborative approach to design.

Studio Manager

Lana joined with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary design and implementation.

Tyson plays an integral part in the DesignLab team, with over 15 years of freelance and industry based experience.

Spiros Giannos – Design Director

Spiros started DesignLab to answer a marketplace need for a more flexible, targeted and collaborative approach to commercial design in Adelaide Graphic Design. He has worked in numerous industries including publishing, entertainment and editorial – for example: The Adelaide Review, Rip It Up, Multicultural SA and Ministry of Sound in the United Kingdom. Working closely with Lana at DesignLab, Spiros is responsible for conceptual design and development and client collaboration.

Lana Giannos - Studio Manager

Lana joined with extensive experience in design and implementation, including for Adelaide Convention Tourism Authority (ACTA), British Aerospace (BAE Australia), Royal Automobile Association (RAA), South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) and Elstree Film Studios in the United Kingdom. At DesignLab, Lana is responsible for design strategy and identity management. She manages the team, ensuring the integrity of the creative concept is maintained throughout the design process.

Jordan Tucker - Creative Designer

Jordan’s design process is based on clear communication offering a fresh and youthful perspective, working with a range of clients across various industries. He strives for effectiveness in visually communicating ideas that resonate. Jordan enjoys challenging design’s boundaries, pushing each concept to its fullest potential, always ensuring relevant, contemporary, quality outcomes. His growing repertoire in graphic design has already embraced branding, logos, web design, video editing and illustration.

Tyson Brady – Web Developer / Programmer

Tyson has completed work for a growing number of iconic South Australian start ups, individuals and small businesses. He is proficient in a number of front-end and back-end development languages and libraries such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, PHP, jQuery and SQL to name a few. These days most of his time is spent on custom WordPress, Shopify and Opencart development and the planning and creation of web applications.
